Battle of Messines
The Battle of Mesen (Dutch: Slag bij Mesen-Wijtschate) was the prologue to the famous Battle of Passchendaele (Dutch: Slag om Passendale). A total of 6 rememberences and 5 thema weekends are held in 2007 from 07 June until 11 November.
Remembrance
The Battle of Mesen - Wijtschate was the beginning of the battles and started with the detonation of 19 bombs simultanously.
