Apple iTunes is dead, as an application yes, but in the background absolutely not.
Introduction
In 2021 the status is that Apple has made 3 different apps:
- Music
- Podcasts
- TV
In the background, the folder structure, iTunes is still there. The basic locations are:
- Music ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media
- ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media
- ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media Apple Music
- ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music
- Podcasts
All falls back after the folder ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media with respect to all the spaces.
