Migration Mac Mprow to Max

Introduction

Apple replacement is a very good covered issues, but Apple computer migration is not.
Since that is still the case, therefor this page helps me.

I want to do the following:

• Replacement of my old Macbook Pro 2012
• Migration of my iMac (2012) to the new MacBook Pro Max
• Removal of all subversion repositories
• Adding a 27" Monitor (4K) to the new MacBook Pro Max

Replacement

The old MacBook Pro (2012) has some injuries from its usage, but also the internal memory and video capabilities are limited.
Causing the heating of the CPU and producing noise from the fans to cool the device.
to improve that:

• Better CPU (Apple M1 Max)
• More internal memory (32GB)
• Better Graphics (Apple M1 Max)
• Speed (newer Apple)

Migration

The old iMac (2012) has the same limitation of the old MacBook Pro limited internal memory and video capabilities.
to improve that:

• The storage of the new MacBook has been increased to 2TB SSD.
• The capabilities of the new BacBook are 32GB internal memory and the fast CPU M1 MAX.
• The extra Data of the iMac has to be moded to the new MacBook Pro (See ...)

Removal

• The subversion repositories are:
  • Moved to GIT
  • Removed and replaced by Apple Time-Machine-Backups
• The iMac data not covered by Git is moved to the new MacBookPro.

Adding

The iMac has a very good display, but nothing in compare to the new MacBook.
