Web-Hosting offers the outside housing of Websites. There are free, cheap, and very expensive web-hosting solutions for various questions/installation/software. A few are named here. I added my own experience to the one I known/use.

Introduction

Free webhosting is of course the solution if your requirements are not that high. If you wanna heave control of what's installed on your machine you'll need a VPN or other solutions to meet your needs. See for an overview and comparison of free webhosts the Website free-webhosts.com [1].

HelioHost offers free Web-Hosting for professionals [2]:

  • ASP.NET, JSP, Perl, Ruby of Rails,Python
  • MySQL, PostgreSQL,
  • cPanel

X10Hosting[12] offers Free, Premium and VPS Hosting solutions.
